Most people who travel to the Dominican Republic (to to: http://www.dominicanrepublic411.com for more info) come back talking about the scenery and what a feast for the eyes this beautiful tourist country is and I agree with them. But… what impressed me the most about the Dominican Republic was not what I could see with my eyes but what I could sense with my nose. I don’t mean this to sound bad but I sincerely believe this would be a good place for a blind person to travel to. The smells coming in off the ocean is just so sweet and pure it is divine. I would go out early in the morning when I was there and just stand on the edge of the water and breathe deeply. The kind of breathing they teach you in yoga class where you breathe from your abdomen. This also feels the bottom third of your lungs that usually doesn’t get filled by normal breathing.

Sunday, February 19th, 2012I was unable to find my special snowboard when I was unpacking my stuff after I got home from my snowboarding trip from South America a few hours ago. It made me realised that I might have left my snowboard in South America. Which is why, I have decided to call the hotel where I stayed in South America to find out whether they found my special snowboard after I checked out from my hotel room. Luckily, they have found my snowboard inside their room’s closet. I felt really relieved that they found my special snowboard, because my sister will kill me if she finds out that I lost the special snowboard that she gave me on my birthday. Since I do not want my sister to find out about how I forgot my snowboard in South America, I decided to offer some cash to make sure the hotel will send my special snowboard back to the United States.
